A1: We offer a range of packages to suit every traveller: 1 Night 2 Days (quick getaway), 2 Nights 3 Days (most popular, 2 jungle safaris), 3 Nights 4 Days (deep-dive, 3 safaris), and fully Customised Group Packages. All packages include AC transport, accommodation, all meals, forest permits, and an experienced guide.
A2: Depending on your package: Sajnekhali Wildlife Sanctuary, Sudhanyakhali Watchtower (best for tiger sightings), Dobanki Canopy Walk, Netidhopani Jungle Camp & Ancient Temple, Burirdabri Watchtower, Pakhiralay Bird Sanctuary, and a local village interaction experience.
A3: Yes! We specialise in customised Sundarbans packages — solo trips, family vacations, honeymoon specials, and corporate group tours. Contact us via WhatsApp or email for a free quote.
A4: October to March (winter) is ideal — cool weather, calm rivers, excellent wildlife visibility. Summer (April–May) offers lush greenery and nesting birds. Monsoon (June–September) is vibrant but some zones may have restricted access. We run tours year-round — ask about off-season discounts!
A5: Winter (Oct–Feb): 12°C–25°C — Best season. Summer (Mar–May): 28°C–40°C — Hot & humid. Monsoon (Jun–Sep): 25°C–35°C with heavy rainfall.
A6: Step 1: Browse packages on bisque-badger-647080.hostingersite.com. Step 2: Fill the booking form or WhatsApp us. Step 3: Pay 30% advance to confirm dates. Step 4: Pay balance before departure. We accept UPI, bank transfer, credit/debit cards, and net banking.
A7: 7+ days before: Full refund (minus processing fee). 3–6 days before: 50% refundable. Within 48 hours/No-show: Non-refundable. Free rescheduling if requested 5+ days in advance. Weather/forest closure: Full reschedule at no charge.
A8: Yes! Special rates for groups of 10 or more. School, college, and corporate groups get customised pricing. Contact us for a group quote.
A9: Yes. All packages include AC vehicle pickup and drop from Kolkata (Science City / Esplanade area). Pickup from Canning railway station can be arranged on request.
A10: Approximately 100–110 km via Basanti Highway. Drive takes 3–4 hours. Alternatively: Sealdah to Canning by train (1.5 hrs), then road and boat.
A11: Government-approved motor launches with life jackets, washroom facilities, sleeping berths (overnight packages), and a kitchen for freshly prepared meals. All vessels are regularly certified.
A12: Yes. All mandatory permits — forest entry permit, boat permit, and camera fee — are arranged and included by us. Carry a valid photo ID (Aadhaar/Voter ID/Passport) for all travellers.
A13: Yes. Additional Forest Department clearance is required. Provide passport details at least 7 days before the tour so we can arrange permissions in time.
A14: Options include: Houseboat/Cruise Stay (sleep on the river), Eco Resort/Forest Lodge (river-view rooms), and AC Resort (modern amenities). All are pre-inspected. Specific resort details shared at confirmation.
A15: All packages include bed tea, breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. We serve authentic Bengali cuisine — fresh fish, rice, dal, and local Sundarbans specialities. Vegetarian meals available — inform us at booking.
A16: Yes, with a licensed operator. Our measures: government-certified vessels with life jackets, licensed guides with first-aid training, and armed forest guards on every safari boat (as mandated by law). Full safety briefing before forest entry.
A17: Tiger sightings are never guaranteed — they are elusive animals. However, the Sundarbans has the world’s highest density of wild tigers. Best chances: early morning safaris near Sudhanyakhali and Dobanki watchtowers. You will also see spotted deer, estuarine crocodiles, Gangetic dolphins, and 200+ bird species.
A18: Light full-sleeve clothing (earth tones), insect repellent, sunscreen, personal medications, photo ID for all travellers, binoculars, camera with extra batteries, sufficient cash (no ATMs inside the forest), comfortable footwear, and a raincoat (for monsoon/winter).
